EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN THE STUDENT SUPPORT CENTRE, SOUTHFIELDS ACADEMY, WANDSWORTH 
STUDENT SUPPORT CENTRE TUTOR
Required from September 2013
£18,850 per annum
Full-time fixed term (12 months) contract.

We are seeking outstanding individuals to join our Student Support Centre Team.  We are seeking graduates to work in the Support Centre to support two services, namely 'XL @ Aspire' (an alternative education provision for year 10 & 11 students) and the Exclusion Centre (students on fixed term exclusion).  This individual will join a team who prepares and delivers lessons in core subjects (English, Mathematics and Science).  Applicants must have excellent communication skills and the ability and confidence wot work with and support students who ahve arange of ability and have the confidence to manage challenging behaviour.  Relevant experience of working with or leading young people will also be essential.

This post is a wonderful opportunity to develop the neccessary skills and gain excellent relevant experience for those who wish to enter the teaching profession.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST
£21,388.00 - £25,738.00 - depending on experience
PART-TIME AVAILABLE

We are looking for a qualified speech and language therapist to move into s specialist role, supporting secondary-aged students with a diagnosis of Speech, Language and Communication Needs or ASD.

The post is new and open to development but in the first instance will involve peripatetic work across three local secondary schools with SLCN Resources bases.  you will be part of the ASD hub and be provided with a comprehensive CPD package in line with NHS expectations.  Current Band 5 Therapists are welcome to apply.

DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN
£13,498.81 per annum (actual)
36 hours per week Term Time Only
Required As Soon As Possible

The Academy requires a Design Technology Technician as soon as possible to provide a technical and support service to the Design Technology Department.

This post would suit anyone, from an apprentice to a retired person, who has experience of carpentry, construction or a keen interest in DIY.

The role would involve preparing resources fro technology lessons (resistant materials, graphics, food and textiles) and providing general support for our students and teachers allowing you to put something back into the local community.

Candidates will require the ability to provide technical support and advice and a knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
