The College Refectory
Dear Parent/Carer
Welcome to our 3 week menu for the Autumn Term 2011. Southfields Community College is a Healthy School and as such we strive to ensure that your child gets a balanced meal that gives them all of the nutrition and goodness they need for a fulfilling and active schoolday and to be sure that they are healthy and happy to learn. All of our meals are produced fresh daily on site by our own catering team. We only use fresh and where possible locally sourced ingredients. All of our meal deals provide your child with their 5 a day target of fruits and vegetables. Fresh drinking water is available at both Break 1 and Break 2 in the refectory, the playground and the P.E. Department. At Southfields we recognise the need to work together with parents / carers to make sure that we provide our children with the best possible diet to ensure them a happy and healthy future.
If your child has any specific dietary requirements or allergies then please could you inform the College as soon as possible so that suitable arrangements can be made for them.

The following are available daily Jacket potato with a choice of fillings (baked beans, cheese, tuna & sweet corn) Filled sandwiches, wraps and baguettes Freshly prepared fruit salad Natural and flavoured yoghurts Fruit Once every term there will be themed international day (e.g. Lebanese, West Indian, African, Jamaican, Mexican, Italian, Chinese etc.
