All students except the 6th Form are expected to wear the full Academy uniform. We ask parents to assist us by providing the uniform and by encouraging their daughters/sons to take pride in their dress. The uniform is available from the Academy shop.
The Academy Uniform shop is open during term time:

Uniform Price increase March 2011
You may all be aware that the price of cotton worldwide has increased by over 100% in the past 12 months. Along with the exchange rates and other issues this had led to some producers increasing their prices by over 40%. After 6 years of price stability our uniform suppliers will have to revise their prices with effect from March 1st. As always they will do everything possible to spread and balance the increases to keep them to a minimum and no item will be increased by more than 12.6%. As soon as the new list of prices have been confirmed we will publish them to give as much advanced notice as possible.
Academy Conversion
While the Academy conversion takes place and while the building of the new school continues the uniform will remain as described below and in your child's diary. Any changes to the uniform will not be implemented until September 2013. |

All students must wear plain black shoes - no trainers are allowed.
Hooded garments are not acceptable.
Jewellery - 1 pair of small earrings may be worn and one ring may be worn.
Headwear such as woollen hats, caps, bandanas and headbands are not permitted within school nor on entering school.
Mobile phones should not be brought to school, Media players etc should not be brought to school (the Academy will not take responsibility for items lost, damaged or stolen)
If a student is incorrectly dressed on arrival at the Academy they will be sent home immediately to change in to correct uniform. Please be aware that non-uniform items may be confiscated from students if worn on entry or within the Academy. |
