Research shows that parents are ever more vital to achievement than previously thought.  Students that receive positive parental support perform better.

Teachers and parents need to work together over the long term both within the classroom and at home.  We, at Southfields Academy, are fully aware of this and that is why we have set up the 'Parents' Forum'.

The Parents' Forum is an opportunity for parents to come and discuss different topics that are important to their child and that will enhance the child's learning.

At these meetings you can raise any points that are concerning you and have direct contact with tutors.
